Pigman College of Engineering welcomes 7 new faculty members

This month, the University of Kentucky Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering welcomed seven new members to its faculty.  Brooks Lane, assistant professor in the  F. Joseph Halcomb III, M.D. Department of Biomedical Engineering Lane earned his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in 2019 and most recently served as a postdoctoral fellow at Drexel University.  His research interests are:

The Vicchio Research Group welcomes two new graduate student members to the team! James Alleh and Benedict Afriyie are the first two graduate students to join the group. 

 

09/01/25: Welcome Cadin Drake and Andrew Ragan to the Vicchio Research Group!

September 1st, 2025

Cadin Drake (freshman, ME undergraduate) and Andrew Ragan (freshman, CME undergraduate) are the first members of the Vicchio Research Group! Cadin and Andrew are interested in actinide heterogeneous catalysis.
